Amelia Earhart

Shows a life-sized figure of Earhart as a young woman, clad in aviation gear, seated on a bench and gazing up at the skies over Lake Okabena. Her leather aviator cap and goggles hang off the end of the bench, and there’s plenty of room for a person to sit and grab a selfie with Earhart. Earhart’s family was friends with the Mann family, and as a result, she visited Worthington as a child, learning how to swim and fish in Lake Okabena. Located on Sailboard Beach.
